ServiceSport (UK) Ltd provides operators with an alternative to purchasing brand new gym equipment by refreshing existing gym equipment. This process includes extraction of gym equipment from the site, replacing worn parts, sandblasting the frame to bare metal, powder coating in a colour of the customer’s choice, and installing the kit on site.

Over the years, ServiceSport (UK) Ltd has been recognised as the go-to place for upholstery repairs. Carrying out repairs to worn or torn pads on strength equipment, adjustable multi- benches, and even sofas. This includes a choice of colours and the professional embroidery of a logo or slogan onto the pad too.

To complement the portfolio of services, ServiceSport (UK) Ltd also supplies custom branded workwear including t-shirts, fleeces, blouses, jackets, and hoodies.

case study: Refresh
Oakhill Leisure were looking for a cost-effective way of giving their gym an uplift. Having considered replacing the existing strength equipment with brand new equipment, Oakhill Leisure were looking for an alternative. Having approached ServiceSport (UK) Ltd to see what options were available, it was recommended to refresh the existing strength equipment and replace the worn pads at the same time. This would not only give the gym the wow factor that Oakhill Leisure were looking for but also save them a significant sum of money compared to buying brand new gym equipment.

With everything extracted and loaded, the equipment was transported to ServiceSport (UK) Ltd’s factory based in Chorley, Lancashire to be stripped down and worn parts replaced with new. Having decided on a ‘black on black’ scheme (great choice by the way!!) the frame was sandblasted to bare metal and powder coated gloss black. The original Technogym Selection line branding remained and the pads reupholstered in black.

The final result certainly enhances the existing gym space and gives Oakhill Leisure the peace of mind that their gym equipment will continue to perform as expected for many more years to come.

For the last 60 years, Nuffield Health have been working to make the nation fitter, healthier, happier and stronger. With more than 150 sites across the country, Nuffield Health need a trusted and reliable provider to service, maintain and repair their range of fitness equipment to ensure that the nation continues to benefit from its service offering for many years to come.

ServiceSport (UK) Ltd has delivered the service and repair contract at Nuffield Health since 2011, maintaining more than 1000 pieces of gym equipment ranging from Technogym to Life Fitness. Through its asset management system, ServiceSport (UK) Ltd is able to share site information with Nuffield Health to show the condition of their gym equipment, schedule service visits, track repairs and review management reports to make informed business decisions in relation to the purchasing of new gym equipment.
