Freemotion Fitness

What we can do for you
Freemotion is the global pioneer in fitness equipment and technology, introducing the world to cable-based strength training, the Incline Trainer, and the first road-simulating indoor bike. Believing in what’s next, Freemotion is now leading the way in interactive, connected fitness with the 22 SERIES cardio line powered by iFit, while reinventing small group training for the new fitness age with FUSION Team Training. With science and innovation at its core, Freemotion questions how we work out and then redefines it, creating groundbreaking products that deliver an unbeatable user experience and ultimately drive commercial results for its partners.

The Freemotion brand, alongside iFit, NordicTrack and Pro-Form, is owned by ICON Health and Fitness

Key products and services
Forget products... Freemotion exists to create immersive, engaging, results-driven experiences that reimagine the way we think about cardio, strength, and small group training. Together, they provide users with the power to do more, be more, and achieve more. After all, it’s the experiences, not products, that deliver the ultimate engagement, retention, and revenue.

RE-IMAGINED CARDIO EXPERIENCES
It’s no longer good enough for cardio equipment to simply look great and feel great. In an increasingly content and tech-driven world where consumers call the shots, demanding personalization, connectivity, and a constant flow of fresh experiences, today’s cardio must offer multi-layered engagement for the user.

From the entry-level model to the ultra-advanced and high-performing 22 SERIES, powered by iFit, the Freemotion cardio range has been thoughtfully designed to deliver immersive, engaging, and interactive experiences. Combining unrivalled engineering, technology, and content, Freemotion cardio provides operators with a fully holistic, digital solution capable of facilitating a high-impact, omnichannel fitness experience to elevate member engagement and retention.

MULTI-DIMENSIONAL STRENGTH TRAINING
Encompassing the philosophy, principles, and programming of functional fitness, Freemotion strength has been developed to enhance an individual’s ability to perform daily activities, sport, and recreation.

By allowing users to train their bodies freely without restrictions, based on their motion ranges and physical abilities, it makes strength training accessible, inclusive, and progressive for all.

GAME-CHANGING SMALL GROUP TRAINING
Today’s increasingly time-poor and health-conscious consumers are hungry for new ways to speed up their workouts and achieve lasting results, all within safe, fun, and inspiring environments. So, Freemotion ripped up the rulebook and created FUSION Team Training, the ultimate blend of cardio and strength training in a high-energy, coach-led, Covid-safe, small group class.

The game-changing 22 SERIES cardio range, powered by iFit, delivers a one-of-a-kind, interactive, connected fitness experience that bridges the gap between home and gym to delight today’s omnichannel consumers.

Now is the time to create an omnichannel fitness experience for your members
Autumn is a time for planning, budgeting and renewal. It marks a time when routines return and goals are set for the rest of the year. Vows for healthy habits are made and physical and mental health becomes a major focus as work and schools restart.

It’s an important time for businesses too, especially in the health and fitness sector. While January is traditionally THE month for new customers and setting a platform for the rest of the year, we ignore the opportunities of this time of the year at our peril. Particularly in a world – and industry – which has been transformed by the pandemic.

Here’s the thing, September to November is a time of year when outdoor exercise is still possible, no matter where you are in the world. Clubs that can offer members the option to work out whenever and wherever they want – including outside the club – can have a distinct advantage when it comes to retaining them for the long term. Engage people and make exercise a comfortable, convenient part of their life and they are more likely to stay.

That is why iFIT is ahead of the game. It is the only true omnichannel solution that can offer workouts in the club, at home and on the go. The iFIT platform – and its library of 17,000+ on-demand workouts and live streams – is available in the gym via the Freemotion 22 SERIES cardio line, at home via NordicTrack and ProForm equipment and on the go via the iFIT app.

“iFIT allows clubs to have multiple touchpoints with members whether they are training in or out of the club,” said Tony Ali, country manager at Freemotion.

“The pandemic has changed the world and the fitness experience – the club of today (and tomorrow) is one without walls.”
