press release: Speedflex (UK & Ireland) Limited
100 sites and counting: Speedflex reaches 100 UK locations with growing demand for HIIT Without The Hurt
Speedflex has reached a major milestone, with its innovative machines now installed in over 100 locations across the UK - marking a significant moment in the brand’s continued growth within the fitness and wellness sector.
Designed to deliver smarter, more inclusive and effective workouts, Speedflex has gained support from operators and independent gyms across the UK looking to offer results-driven training experiences that cater to the varied abilities and fitness levels of their members. At the centre of this growth is the Speedflex Blade, which sits on the gym floor and features over 150 on-demand workouts. Utilising Speedflex’s unique adaptive resistance technology, it responds dynamically to the user's effort in real time - continuously adapting to how much force is applied, matching effort through every phase of movement. The harder you push or pull, the more resistance is generated - creating a completely self-regulating workout that is both intuitive and effective, and suitable for everyone.
This expansion is reflective of a wider shift within the fitness industry, of a growing demand for training solutions that remove traditional barriers to entry while still delivering powerful and effective workouts that get results. By combining intuitive, adaptive resistance with low-impact movement, Speedflex enables users of all abilities - from beginners and those returning from injury, to experienced athletes - to train effectively and safely, build strength and confidence and achieve their goals in a way that feels both accessible and empowering. It’s this combination of inclusivity and performance that has driven such strong operator demand for their technology, with more and more facilities choosing to introduce it across their gym floors.
Speedflex machines enable operators to build studios and classes around the machine, while the Blade’s built-in screen and on-demand workouts enables gyms, spas, health clubs, and hotels, to fit the machine without the need for instructor-led sessions, enabling members to train in their own time at their own convenience in a safe and inclusive way. From premium health clubs such as David Lloyd Leisure, to leading hotel groups including QHotels and Village Hotels, as well as innovative independent studios like Regen and Gym Possible, Speedflex is now powering workouts across a diverse range of fitness spaces.
Paul Ferris, CEO and co-founder of Speedflex said: “We’re incredibly proud to see Speedflex installed in over 100 sites across the UK. This is a real testament to the trust that operators have placed in us and the impact our technology is having on their members. Our mission has always been to make training more accessible, empowering and effective for everyone regardless of ability or fitness level, and it’s been amazing to see operators respond to and truly believe in that mission. We’re excited to keep building on this momentum and see what is next for us!”
Speedflex is looking to continue expanding into the UK market and overseas, offering its innovative HIIT Without The Hurt training modality to more and more people.

– Matt Hague, regional fitness business manager, Everyone Active
The workout is both safe and inclusive which makes it the perfect fit for our diverse range of customers. Our guests can now enjoy a revolutionary fitness experience during their stay, reaffirming our commitment to offering the best amenities and services at The QHotels Collection."
– Keith Pickard, group director of golf, health club and spa, The QHotels Collection
Many operators have machines which are challenging for certain demographics of our community to use, least of all our seniors! But Speedflex is different. I have seen customers approach it for the first time, play on the screen and easily start a workout, and better still, they say their joints didn't hurt either.
Whilst many operators would put two units next to a rig, we have one in an open space and another in a quiet space; more private, less on show. It’s this unit the majority of individual users go to. Yes, the studio classes are better for having one but don’t rule out having one as part of your special populations area too.
I was surprised how well Speedflex sits in both camps. HIIT Without the HURT, perfect for classes and studio but equally as good for seniors to do those all-important compound movements; Osteoporosis fighting, strength training. Riskfree."
