Everyone Active celebrates Summer Solstice and International Yoga Day with wellness events across UK
A nationwide celebration for the upcoming Summer Solstice and International Yoga Day will take place at Everyone Active facilities across the country on Friday, 19 June 2026.
The leading leisure operator will host a range of yoga, EA Rejuvenate and relaxation sessions to showcase its wellbeing offering across selected leisure centres in the UK.
The initiative reflects the growing role leisure centres play in supporting preventative health and wellbeing, providing accessible opportunities for people to improve both their physical and mental health. Through events such as these, Everyone Active continues to champion community wellbeing while encouraging more people to lead active, healthy lifestyles.
The Summer Solstice takes place on Sunday, June 21 and marks the official start of astronomical summer and the longest day of the year.
The International Day of Yoga, which is celebrated annually on 21 June, aims to unite yoga students of all abilities to honour the practice and its range of physical and mental health benefits.
Everyone Active delivers thousands of group exercise classes every week, including yoga, Pilates, breathwork and mindfulness-inspired sessions, designed to be accessible for participants of all ages, abilities and experience levels.
Angela Ioannou, Everyone Active’s national group exercise manager, said: “We’re excited to welcome local communities across the country to our exclusive sundown wellbeing sessions.
“It’s a wonderful opportunity for people to gather to mark the upcoming longest day of the year while taking part in a range of activities to showcase the benefits of social wellness and movement. We encourage people of all ages and abilities to come on down and see what we have to offer.”
The wellbeing event is free for Everyone Active YOU+ members, £10 for Move+ members and £20 for all other attendees. Those taking part will also receive an exclusive 50% discount on drinks and snacks purchased on the evening of the event.
