Places Leisure and Les Mills host an exclusive event at Eclipse Leisure Centre
11 Mar 2025
Eclipse Leisure Centre hosted an exclusive Les Mills event / Places Leisure
The exclusive class involved one of Les Mills’ newest workouts, LES MILLS CEREMONY, a 45-minute functional circuits programme. Each session has been designed to challenge multiple muscle groups, improve endurance, and elevate heart rates for an all-around fitness boost.
The event was led by Khiran Huston, a Les Mills International Presenter and Creative Director for several Les Mills programmes. Based in New Zealand, she played a key role in the development of the new LES MILLS CEREMONY and is a leader in the Les Mills fitness community.
Places Leisure welcomed over 20 members to their exclusive member event at Eclipse Leisure Centre. Opened in October 2024, Eclipse Leisure Centre is one of the world's most advanced, energy efficient Passivhaus leisure centres where visitors can enjoy a 200-station gym, eight-lane swimming pool, sauna and steam room, six-court sports hall, and artificial rooftop football pitches. The centre also has 2 group exercise studios and a group cycling studio which host over 100 classes per week including several Les Mills classes.
Sarah Roberts, Head of Fitness at Places Leisure said, “We were thrilled to welcome Khiran to Eclipse Leisure Centre to run the exclusive LES MILLS CEREMONY Studio session for our members. Khiran is a legend within the fitness and Les Mills community; it was great to see her deliver such a high energy session with such enthusiasm with our customers.
“We offer a wide variety of Les Mills instructor led and virtual classes across centres and have done for many years – our partnership is a strong one. The classes prove to be extremely popular with many of our members who keep returning to classes time and time again due to the quality of the content and music delivered by our incredible instructors.”
Khiran Huston, Les Mills Ambassador and Head Coach, said, “It was fantastic, it was such good energy from the team and I had lots of fun. Some of the best people were in this room today here at Eclipse Leisure Centre. It was incredible! Everyone worked really hard and it’s great to see the power of Group Fitness bringing everyone together. The space is absolutely incredible ... you're working hard, you've got this inspiring backdrop ... it's very lush, it's awesome!”
