PRESS RELEASE
Innerva and Feelgood celebrate 10-year partnership driving health and wellbeing across Europe
03 Nov 2025
Feelgood training / Feelgood
Launched in 2015 by Truls Nebell and business partners Knut Ole and Christian Bache, the Feelgood franchise model combines Innerva’s power-assisted exercise circuit with dedicated social spaces to improve the health and wellbeing of older adults, people with health conditions and those who can’t or won’t access mainstream gyms.
Today, Feelgood serves more than 15,000 members from 115 sites in Norway, Austria, Germany, Switzerland and Turkey.
Jon Hymus, managing director of Innerva, said: “We’re proud to celebrate this important milestone with Feelgood. In just 10 years, the team have grown from a single site to one of Europe’s leading exercise and health brands. The fact that the Norwegian government has recommended Feelgood as a solution for people with health conditions is testament to their dedication to improving public health. It’s been a privilege to support Feelgood on their remarkable journey and we look forward to continuing our partnership as they bring the benefits of power-assisted exercise to even more communities across Europe.”
The growing network of Feelgood centres has become an essential part of local life, particularly in areas where few other community activities exist. In some regions, Feelgood is literally helping to keep communities alive.
Unlike many franchise operations, Feelgood has never actively recruited franchise owners. Instead, the brand attracts owners from all walks of life – the oldest being 85 years old – who share a passion for helping others.
The company continues its expansion across Europe with a raft of new openings planned for Norway, Austria, Germany and Switzerland.
Christian Bache, CMO of Feelgood said: “Our partnership with Innerva is built on a shared mission to enhance the health and wellbeing ordinary people — especially older adults and those who benefit most from accessible, inclusive exercise. Feelgood has helped remove the stigma around exercise for people who don’t feel comfortable in traditional gyms or who just don’t enjoy conventional exercise. Together, we’re filling a vital gap in the market and have built a strong foundation for continued success. Feelgood centres are not just helping people become more active, they’re tackling loneliness and proving to be a true force for good.”
Ben Ward, Strategic Sector Development Manager at Innerva, said “Feelgood embodies the true essence of making a healthy lifestyle available for everyone. We are incredibly proud to be partnered with such an amazing brand who share so many of our own philosophies. There is an obvious demand for this important demographic, especially as the population ages and I firmly believe that Feelgood is going to continue its growth to help impact more and more people’s lives. We can’t wait to see what the future holds for this fantastic brand.”
