Wagamama's UK expansion
Wagamama, the Japanese restaurant chain, is to open a further 20 outlets in the UK over the next two years.
The London-based company has appointed Montagu Evans, the property consultancy, to advise it during the rollout.
According to Property Week, the company is searching for sites of 2,500-5,000sq ft (760-1,500sq m) across one level in regional town and city centres, on high streets or as part of shopping centres, mixed-use or office schemes.
Wagamama owns 65 restaurants globally, with 43 in the UK. It has recently opened a restaurant in Boston, Massachusetts, US and is opening its first outlet in Nicosia, Cyprus in the autumn.
