The Rocco Forte Collection is to open a 101-bedroom hotel and spa in a converted 13th-century monastery in Prague later this year.
The new hotel, called The Augustine, will be created from a complex of five buildings in the city, including parts of the St Thomas’ Monastery.
The spa will include four treatment rooms, a sauna and a relaxation area.
Key historic features have been incorporated into the hotel’s design while certain areas have been retained for the practising Augustinian monks, who remain in situ.
The Augustine will be the 12th hotel to join the Rocco Forte Collection.
