ICC confirms Dubai relocation
The International Cricket Council (ICC) is to leave its offices in Europe to take up office space in Dubai in the United Arab Emirates.
Until now, the cricket administration and anti-corruption elements were run from Lord's in London, England, with the commercial and financial arms based in Monaco.
ICC president, Ehsan Mani, said: “The board has been committed to unifying its administration for some time and after considering a range of offers, we are of the view that Dubai provided the best way forward for the international game.”
The ICC will be located at the Dubai Media City before building and occupying new premises at the Dubai Sports City in around two years' time.
