Blk Box turns red for Sydney Swans

The incredible new facility is perfect for the complexity of the AFL’s needs / Blk Box
The famous Royal Hall of Industries, based in the heart of Sydney, is the new home of the Swans, having been the city’s cultural hub after holding numerous prestigious events since it opened its doors in 1913.
Since passing hands to the AFL club, the historic building has undergone a complete transformation, with the walls freshly adorned with the blood red of the Sydney Swans.
The new state-of-the-art gym facility has been custom-designed with innovation, versatility and durability in mind, ensuring the space fits the needs of all current and future athletes and coaches, creating a long-lasting legacy in the sport for years to come.
With large group training at the forefront of design, Blk Box created and installed its largest ever custom Samson 12-Bag Rig, complete with custom Brand Plates and custom branded Weight Plates.
The rig was redesigned to include 6x Smith Machine attachments and Resistance Band holders. To complete the epic strength set-up, Blk Box added a 45 Degree Plate Loaded Leg Press Machine, Blk Box GHD Pro, Blk Box 45 Degree Hyper Extension and a Blk Box Big Ass Belt Squat Machine.
The incredible new facility is perfect for the complexity of the AFL’s needs – with a focus on speed, endurance and power exercises at multiple touch points throughout the space – and has since become the aspirational gold tier of training facilities for AFL teams across the country, setting the standard for the sport on a global stage.
