Spa InterContinental Park Lane launches
The 147-room InterContinental Hotel on Park Lane in London, UK, has reopened following the completion of a £60m (US$111m, 87m euro) refurbishment project, which included a new 3,230sq ft (300sq m) spa.
The urban Spa InterContinental was created by London-based designers and architects RDD and developed in collaboration with skincare company Elemis.
Catering for both hotel guests and day spa visitors, the spa features five standard treatment rooms, a VIP suite with a separate entrance, a rasul and a 1,400sq ft (130sq m) gym equipped by Life Fitness.
Treatments will be offered from Elemis’ lifestyle range, combined with La Therapie.

Now called the InterContinental London Park Lane, a total of 60 suites and a number of guest rooms will be opened to the public in March 2007. Details: www.london.intercontinental.com
