JW Marriott Venice soft-opens, with GOCO-designed spa to follow in May

JW Marriott Hotels & Resorts has soft-opened the JW Marriott Venice Resort & Spa on the private island Isola delle Rose, with the grand opening celebration planned for 24 June 2015.
Designed by Italian architecture practice Matteo Thun & Partners, the 250-key resort offers more than 40 acres (16 hectares) of olive groves and restored structures used for dining venues and event spaces.
The Goco Hospitality-designed, and operated, 1,750sqm (18,837sq ft) spa will launch in early May 2015, comprising eight treatment rooms, a hammam, luxury spa suite, health club, plus indoor and outdoor aqua-tonic pools. The wet zone facilities are being supplied by Barr + Wray.
Gharieni is supplying the spa equipment. Skincare products will be provided by QMS Cosmetics and Amala.
