Flood-hit Tunica casinos and attractions reopen
Casinos and visitor attractions in Tunica, Mississippi, US, have reopened for business after being forced to shut for two weeks as the result of flooding.
Tunica Convention and Visitors Bureau has now launched a campaign to encourage visitors back to the region, which was severely disrupted by floodwaters from the Mississippi River. Webster Franklin, the bureau's president and chief executive officer, said: "It will take more than a 100-year flood to take away the heart and soul of Tunica and we're ready for visitors to come back and see it for themselves."
