Conservation work for prehistoric Irish site
The Mound of the Hostages, one of the most iconic monuments among the prehistoric sites at the Hill of Tara, County Meath, Ireland, is to benefit from "essential conservation work".
Jimmy Deenihan, minister for arts, heritage and the Gaeltacht, said the repair work would be necessary in order to ensure the site is preserved for future generations.
Deenihan said: "Unfortunately there will have to be restrictions on access to the Mound itself but the rest of the Hill will not be affected."
