America Hotels & Resorts plans to develop a hotel at the mixed-use Bawadi development in Dubai.
The property will be one of 31 themed hotels set to be built at the new tourism complex an will comprise a three-star hotel with 500 bedrooms, international restaurant chains and a shopping boulevard modelled on New York’s 5th Avenue.
Over the next eight years, the Bawadi complex will double the current number of hotel rooms in Dubai, including the world’s largest hotel – Asia-Asia – which alone will provide 6,500 rooms, combining 5,100 four-star and 1,400 five-star rooms. It will be developed by Tatweer – part of Dubai Holding.
