New year, new celeb workout as Mark ‘Bez’ Berry announces the launch of his own Joe Wicks-style youtube workout channel – Get Buzzin’ with Bez.

Best known for shaking his maracas and dancing on stage as a member indie band, The Happy Mondays, Bez has the advantage of being able to provide the music for his own soundtracks.

The channel, which will launch on 17 January sees him working out to sort out his coronabod with the support of personal trainer, Andrew Naylor.

“Last lockdown I got unfit, fat, lazy and into some seriously bad eating habits,” said Bez. "This year, this lockdown, I need to sort it out, sharpish.”

Naylor, who is based in Preston, previously operated as AN Coaching, but rebranded in September 2020 to Fit Forward, with a new Amazon store and a range of PT programmes on offer.

In addition to overseeing an exercise regime, he'll be putting Bez through a range of programmes, including visiting a psychologist, learning yoga and trying hypnotherapy.

Naylor is now a part of Bez's support bubble and says he'll "continue to be so for the foreseeable future".

A trailer for the new series has racked up over 30k views in 24 hours since it went live on 9 January, while the launch has had coverage on most national media, from Sky tv and the BBC to the tabloids and The Guardian.
