FIBO 2025: A celebration of innovation, comebacks, and active living

18 Dec 2024
FIBO will take place in Cologne from 10–13 April 2025 / RX Deutschland GmbH / FIBO
From 10–13 April 2025, FIBO will open its doors in Cologne for its 40th edition. With 13 halls, ground-breaking innovations, and unforgettable live experiences, FIBO 2025 sets a new benchmark in its illustrious history.

Featuring highlights such as the brand-new Confex Hall for technology and digitalisation, a wellness hub in Hall 1, and the return of iconic bodybuilding events, this year's programme redefines the standards.

Silke Frank, Event Director FIBO, on the significance of FIBO for the industry: ‘For 40 years, FIBO has not only been a reflection of the changing fitness landscape, but has actively driven trends, developments and diversity. With the new halls, including the brand-new Confex, we are proud to create the appropriate stage for all the trends and innovations that FIBO will bring forth again in 2025.’

The Confex Hall Becomes a Visionary Hub

The debut of the Confex Hall will spotlight critical growth areas like technology and digitalisation. Bringing together renowned exhibitors such as Sport Alliance, Virtuagym, ABC Fitness, and Enhance Fitness LLC, the hall will showcase technology solutions for the fitness and health sectors.

The centrepiece of Confex is the Future Forum, where visitors can attend keynotes, panel discussions, and presentations offering exclusive insights into the latest advancements in health tech and AI. While weekday sessions target industry professionals, weekend programming by the BSA Academy will engage hobby athletes and fitness enthusiasts alike.

Wellness Meets Business in Hall 1

FIBO 2025 also introduces Hall 1, where everything revolves around the themes of wellness and spa, body & mind and longevity. FIBO has created a wellness hub tailored for hoteliers, spa operators, and wellness experts. The Meeting Point Spa & Wellness will continue to impress with a four-day programme, host award ceremonies and provide the perfect environment for networking at the highest management level with its wellness lounge. The Longevity Experience Area, developed in partnership with C4F, brings the "longevity" concept to life through an interactive hotel suite and shows the industry what this buzzword is all about. Hall 1 also marks the return of the Body & Mind Area, offering a comprehensive line-up of yoga, pilates, and mental health education sessions led by IFAA over all four days.

Share Knowledge, Experience Trends: FIBO Campus with Expanded Programme

But that's not all. The hospitality industry can look forward to another highlight: the Longevity & Hospitality Summit. The summit will take place on Thursday, 10 April on the 2nd floor of Confex. Curated by industry experts Judith Cartwright, Black Coral Consulting, and Yves Preissler this international programme of keynotes, seminars, and discussions shares global insights with participants, followed by an exclusive dinner.

Running parallel to the summit, the FIBO Congress will return from Thursday to Saturday. Organised by DHfPG/BSA, this track features more than 80 presentations addressing the most relevant industry topics. Tickets for both the Congress and Summit are now available through the FIBO ticket shop.

Festival Feeling But Make It Fitness

FIBO is renowned for its electrifying live events—and 2025 promises even more. HYROX returns to the Cologne exhibition halls with three exhilarating days of competition starting Friday. Meanwhile, Hall 10.2 will host an extraordinary showcase of calisthenics talent. Following its successful debut in 2024, the FIBO Football Festival is back, now in Hall 11.1, featuring try-outs, meet-and-greets, and a celebration of the American Football culture.

Beauty As The Key to Holistic Well-Being

FIBO 2025 showcases just how multifaceted the topic of beauty is in the fitness and health sector. With a unique mix of presentations, workshops and meet & greets, the platform not only brings together entrepreneurs and distributors, but also connects them directly with end consumers - a target group that is willing to invest in high-quality body care. Highlights include innovative treatments like microneedling, strategies for boosting revenue through beauty add-ons, and personalised skincare solutions.

Private visitors will enjoy a weekend programme dedicated to skincare, anti-aging, mental wellness, and female empowerment. Celebrity meet-and-greets with influencers Lisa Marie Schiffner and Sophia Thiel, alongside a dedicated Beauty Mall, elevate the experience further.

Hypercon Area Brings Lifestyle Flair

With Hypercon & Hyperneed, FIBO 2025 offers an experience that goes far beyond traditional fitness and health offerings: visitors have the rare opportunity to purchase exclusive sneaker highlights from well-known brands such as Nike, Adidas and Jordan. This unique offer appeals particularly to the young, lifestyle-orientated target group and makes FIBO an unmissable event for all those who combine fitness, fashion and trends.

The Return of Bodybuilding Excellence

Celebrating its deep-rooted heritage in bodybuilding, FIBO 2025 promises a full-throttle line-up in Hall 11.1. Featuring renowned attractions such as "Rühl’s Best," the Strongman Area, and appearances by stars like Jay Cutler and Derek Lunsford, bodybuilding enthusiasts have much to look forward to. Additional exclusive bodybuilding announcements will follow soon.

A Milestone Worth Celebrating

FIBO’s 40th edition is a celebration of the event's legacy as a pioneer in the fitness and wellness industry. Fittingly, the anniversary edition not only honours the past four decades but also serves as a launchpad for the future.
