Eleiko releases 2024 sustainability report

23 Jun 2025
Towards more sustainable operations across product development, climate action, and supply chain partnerships / Eleiko
Eleiko's 2024 annual sustainability report highlights advances in climate work, product circularity and strategic partnerships.

Eleiko, a global leader in strength equipment, has released its 2024 Sustainability Report, highlighting its progress towards more sustainable operations. The report showcases how Eleiko continues to strengthen its climate work, evolve product development for longevity, and deepen strategic supplier partnerships in sustainability — all part of the company’s commitment to helping build A Stronger World.

The 2024 Sustainability Report reflects a focused, values-driven approach — advancing our climate efforts, embedding durability into design, and strengthening partnerships through accountability and care. Guided by our core values of Performance, Learning, and Kindness, we continue to align our business with long-term sustainability efforts.

“Sustainability is a long-term commitment. It requires focus, accountability, and thoughtful action,” said Erik Blomberg, CEO of Eleiko. “This year’s report reflects how we’re maturing in our approach — identifying the issues that matter most and acting where we can have real impact. We remain committed to building strength in every sense – in our products, our partnerships, and our environmental and social initiatives.”

2024 Sustainability Highlights:

Strengthening our focus
In 2024, Eleiko completed a full double materiality assessment to better understand the environmental and social topics that matter most — both from a business and stakeholder perspective. These insights now guide our priorities and align us more closely with the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS).

Climate action and emissions transparency
We completed our first full Scope 3 emissions screening, giving us a clearer picture of our climate footprint and where reductions matter most. We also deepened our partnership with Swedish steelmaker Ovako to explore further development of low-carbon steel manufacturing — a key step toward lowering emissions in one of our most material areas.

Our commitment to human rights due diligence
We joined the UN Global Compact’s Business & Human Rights Accelerator to strengthen our human rights due diligence. This programme helps us identify and mitigate risks across our value chain in a structured, proactive way.

Designing for longevity
We continued evolving our product development practices to prioritise durability, modularity, and repairability — critical principles for building more circular strength equipment that stands the test of time while delivering high performance.

Eleiko's 2024 Annual Sustainability Report is available at www.eleiko.com/a-stronger-world. By sharing this report, Eleiko aims to inform and encourage other industry players, customers, and stakeholders to adopt sustainable practices and work collectively toward a stronger future.
