ÖÖD unveils mirror sauna pods crafted to merge seamlessly with nature
ÖÖD House is collaborating with spas to introduce its prefabricated Mirror Saunas, featuring reflective glass exteriors and Estonian-style saunas.
Founded in 2016 by Jaak and Andreas Tiik, ÖÖD aims to deliver luxury, nature-connected experiences, drawing on Estonia’s deep sauna culture.
The saunas are powered by Harvia wood-burning or electric heaters and come in three sizes: the Mini (2-3 people), the Medium (2-3 people) with a relaxation area, and the Large (4-7 people), which includes a restroom, shower and space for treatments or a plunge pool.
All saunas feature a 180-degree floor-to-ceiling glass facade, seamlessly connecting guests with nature. Prioritising environmental integrity, ÖÖD’s houses feature near-invisible designs to leave landscapes unspoiled.
Plus, ÖÖD saunas’ reflective glass – equipped with UV film – prevents bird collisions, ensuring the units exist in harmony with their natural surroundings.
Custom designs are offered, and the saunas can be installed turnkey or built on-site as needed.
According to UK & Ireland sales manager Matthew Parkinson: “Our reflective glass houses merge beautifully with nature meaning no two locations are ever the same. Our saunas provide a high-end, nature-integrated experience, yielding strong ROI for spa partners embracing the wellness trend.”
A true plug-and-play, the facilities can be installed in a day and only need connecting to electricity once they arrive. ÖÖD can also create more off-grid solutions for remote locations too.
