Warsaw opening for Holmes Place
Holmes Place Health Clubs has opened a new build, 1,600sq m (17,220sq ft)club – Shape Arkadia – in the Arkadia shopping centre in Warsaw, Poland.
The 3,000-capacity club, which opened on 5 November 2007, has already signed up 1,200 members.
Equipped by Technogym and PowerPlate, the club offers a wide range of facilities including a group cycling studio, aerobics studio, mini classes, dry sauna, Power Plate training, individual coaching and personal training.
It has a mid-market, corporate-orientated target – young managers with an average age of 30.
Covering a total area of 287,000sq m (3,089,000sq ft), Arkadia is one of the biggest shopping malls in the region, offering everything from fashion to electronics and a multiplex cinema and, for the expats, the country’s first Marks& Spencer food department and an English language bookshop.
Approximately 45,000– 70,000 people are said to visit the mall each day.
