Starwood Capital Group is rolling out a new luxury hotel brand, called Baccarat Hotels and Resorts, worldwide.
The first Baccarat hotel, comprising 193 condominium units, is due to open in Wailea, Hawaii, in the Caribbean in 2010.
CEO Barry Sternlicht said: “I’m extremely excited for the opportunity to display Baccarat’s extraordinary and distinctive pedigree in a new and unique way at some of the most breathtaking locations around the world.
These hotels will serve as living innovation labs for the Baccarat brand as we move the parent company into today’s fashion and design world.”
