Sheffield United appoints head of property

Sheffield United Football Club has appointed John Stacey from the Scarborough Development Group as head of its property division.
Stacey will oversee the club’s national and international off-field property investment and development activities, together with improvements and developments at the grounds.
Stacey is already leading proposals for United’s Crookes Development Centre project and is a director of Quoin Property, which was responsible for the Scarborough Development Group’s UK investment portfolio.
United’s chief executive Jason Rockett said: “John’s experience and contacts in the property market will be invaluable as we seek to further grow this part of our business. Details: www.sufc.co.uk
