Rugby School extends fitness offer with Nautilus showcase

Leicester Tigers and former England Rugby International player, Austin Healey, has officially opened the Nautilus@Rugby School gym.
Part of a new extension of Rugby School Sports Centre, the Nautilus@Rugby School fitness suite will be used by Nautilus to showcase its products in the education sector.
As such, it features a variety of equipment from natural strength training equipment – which will enable children to exercise without putting stress on single joints – to more sophisticated strength training products such as Nautilus Nitro and free weights for older members of school sports teams, teachers and external gym members.
The facility also includes a comprehensive range of cardio equipment to suit the gym’s variety of users. Nautilus also gave staff a three-day training course covering natural strength training, strength training and cardiovascular training, as well as equipment programming and usage.
Funded solely by the school, the new facility aims to improve the health and fitness offer to pupils, but will also be open to the public.
School users currently account for around 1,000 members and so only 100 external members will be sought initially with 50 already signed up in the first two weeks.
