Results opens fourth site
Health Club operator Results is set to launch its fourth site this summer in Alton, Hampshire.
The new 3,000sq ft property will target members aged 40-65 and focus on motivation and encouragement for its members.
An active floor team will greet each member and remain on hand in the club to help members achieve their goals.
The Alton club will also be among the first in the UK to feature Hoist’s new Roc-It line of ride-oriented resistance equipment. The interval training circuit is part of a 40-station gym suite at the club.
Strength training is an essential part of the club’s ethos of helping members to achieve their fitness goals, and so a free weights area with dumbbells, Smith Machine and rubberised floor will be hidden behind a ‘Green Screen’ planted area, along with the only mirrors in the club.
Director, Paul Green, said: “The market we are aiming for has never set foot in a gym before and so we need to provide the right level of support combined with the right equipment too."
A raised plinth area for small group activities such as stretch and ‘spin cycles’ will also be used for hourly in-club sessions where members are encouraged to take part in a specific training session, such as a 10 minute abs blast, to make work-outs more fun and exciting.
