Register launches guidance for exercise referrals

The Register of Exercise Professionals has published an information guide on qualifications and training in exercise referrals which is available through its website.
It contains guidance on the National Quality Assurance Framework (NQAF) document published by the Department of Health, and from the General Medical Council, and the outlines the process of implementation for the new National Standard for Exercise Referral – Unit D449.
The new qualification structure for exercise referrals comes fully into effect from 1 April 2006.
