Miami Beach hotel to undergo $12m overhaul

RCC Associates has been chosen to carry out a US$12m (£7.5m, EUR8.7m) overhaul of the art deco-style Fairfax Hotel in Miami Beach, US, into a new boutique property.
The transformation of the South Beach site is being fronted by Levy Family Partners and Heyat Hospitality Group, with a new name and further details yet to be announced.
Facilities at the new-look hotel will feature a rooftop pool and a restaurant and lounge area, with Tom Evers acting as project manager for RCC Associates.
