Merseyside Maritime Museum attraction reopens
Edmund Gardner - one of the 50 most important preserved ships in the world - has reopened for the first time since 2006 at Liverpool's Merseyside Maritime Museum.
The pilot cutter - part of the museum's historic vessels collection - has been shut as a result of building work linked to the new Museum Of Liverpool, which opened last month. Museum director Rachel Mulhearn said: "The Edmund Gardner was an important part of the Mersey scene for decades and it is a great pleasure to be able to open her again to visitors."
