The Northwest Regional Development Agency (NWDA) and Marketing Manchester have launched the annual Manchester Tourism Awards 2007.
Now in their fourth year, the awards celebrate the best of Greater Manchester’s tourism industry while the winners of a number of categories will automatically be entered in England’s Northwest Tourism Awards 2007.
Categories include Large Attraction of the Year; Tourism Event of the Year; Business Tourism Award; Tourism Restaurant of the Year and Tourism Bar of the Year.
Chief executive at Marketing Manchester Andrew Stokes said: “The awards celebrate the quality and diversity of Manchester’s tourism product and recognise the continuous hard work of all those who contribute to the growing success of the city-region as a tourist destination.”
