Lime spa rollout for Per Aquum group
Spa and resort management company Per Aquum has begun the rebranding and relaunching all of the spas within its portfolio.
The new spa concept, called Lime, fuses holistic wellness rituals with modern spa therapies.
Each spa will provide services from a range of holistic specialists, from naturopaths, homeopaths and yogi masters to ayurvedic doctors and crystal healers.
Six rituals will also be available, with themes such as detoxification.
Lime spas will not use a specific product house and therapies won’t have a strong Eastern or Western influence. Instead, therapists will gain experience in a range of disciplines.
Authenticity will be strongly emphasised in treatments, and products will be indigenous wherever possible, while guests will be encouraged to leave their comfort zone and try new services.
The first two rebranded Lime spas have already launched at Huvafen Fushi in the Maldives and The Fortress in Sri Lanka.
The next Lime spa to be unveiled will be at the Desert Palm in Dubai towards the end of this year.
There are plans to relaunch further spas under the Lime brand in the Maldives, the Seychelles and the Caribbean in 2008.
Per Aquum, which will retain its overall company name, has also signed two contracts for a residential spa in Dubai and the Maldives, but these won’t be operated under the Lime brand.
