Later workouts proved better
Working out during the evening is more effective than in the morning, according to a study from the University of Chicago. The study was based on 40 men divided into five groups. Four teams exercised for an hour on a step machine in the morning, afternoon, evening or night, while the fifth didn't exercise at all. Those who worked out later showed higher levels of cortisol and thyrotropin and glucose levels decreased.
