Kempinski Bahía Estepona revamped
A revamped spa has opened at the Kempinski Hotel Bahía Estepona on Spain’s Costa del Sol.
Called the Éminence Med-Spa and covering more than 10,763sq ft (1,000sq m), the facility has 18 treatment rooms, a sauna, a rasul bath, a swimming pool and fitness centre.
The Éminence Organic Skin Care range has also been introduced to the facility, which is the only spa in Spain to feature the brand’s products and treatments.
The Éminence range uses organically grown herbs, fruit and vegetables, including sour cherry, cranberry, pomegranate, blueberry, pumpkin and garlic mixed with waters from a thermal hot spring in Hungary, containing a high level of minerals and trace elements.
A qualified homeopathic doctor, Fernando Ania, has been appointed to manage the spa. Alongside the organic spa treatments, holistic therapies and complementary medicine will be offered as well as lifestyle counselling and homeopathy.
The rejuvenated Éminence Med-Spa, which reopened in February, is part of a widescale 7m euro (£5.4m, US$11m) renovation of the Kempinski Hotel Bahía Estepona.
