IOC suspends Ghana's Olympic committee

Ghana's national Olympic committee has been suspended by the International Olympic Committee (IOC) due to government 'interference'.
The IOC's executive board said that it had taken the decision after failing to receive any co-operation from the Ghanaian government in the last 18 months. Meanwhile, the IOC's executive board has also resolved to withdraw recognition of the Netherlands Antilles' national Olympic committee due to its new constitutional structure.
