In honour of Earth Day (22 April), the Green Spa Network (GSN) has unveiled a new membership structure designed to make joining the sustainability-focused network easier and expand the non-profit organisation’s impact.
The new ‘associate member’ and ‘contributing member’ levels will provide GSN with an improved foundation for the ongoing development of focused spa sustainability resources for the industry.
Associate members will have access to GSN’s sustainability assessment tool and ‘greening’ toolkit, as well as news, information and a wide range of volunteering opportunities – all for free.
Contributing members, however, can have their spa listed on GSN’s green spa locator map, take advantage of supplier discounts, offers, media and marketing opportunities, in addition to preferred rates for GSN events and more. These services will be available for a one-year membership fee of US$360 (€337, £242).
“There are so many people opening to sustainable opportunities beyond basic measures that the GSN board of directors wanted to be able to provide our tools to anyone who can benefit from them without the barrier of dues,” said executive director of GSN Paul Schmidt. “Our new memberships now make it even easier for spas and supplier partners all over the world to collaborate for a sustainable future.”
