The opening of the new Radisson SAS Farnham Estate hotel and spa in Cavan, Ireland, has been delayed.
Originally scheduled to open in June this year, the 158-room Farnham hotel will now open on 1 August while the spa is due to open in early September.
The 10m euro (£7m) 40,000sq ft (3,700sq m) spa will comprise 19 wet and dry treatment rooms and a relaxation room with waterbeds.
A trilogy suite for three-in-one treatments for one to two guests will feature three hydrotherapy baths, two aroma stream baths, a mud Serail bath, two dry floats and three Tatami beds.
A thermal suite will include a Laconium, a Finnish-style sauna, an amethyst grotto, an ice fountain and reflexology foot basins.
An indoor/outdoor infinity swimming pool will feature hydrotherapy and massage jets.
Austrian company Schletterer Wellness & Spa Design created the spa, which will use the Aromatherapy Associates product ranges. Details: www.radissonsas.com
