Everyone Active is supporting the health and wellbeing of its staff through the integration of Symbio, by HealthHero.
Symbio gives access to a virtual GP service, remote physiotherapy and an employee assistance programme that includes mental health and counselling support. Everyone Active already provides free gym and swimming memberships for all colleagues and their families.
Regional director, Duncan Jefford, says: “The Symbio digital service is aligned with our vision at Everyone Active to help support healthy lives. We have a workforce of more than 14,000 people and we are proud to lead the way with colleague wellbeing support and benefits.”
Everyone Active first introduced HealthHero’s services to its members in December 2023 and this has now been integrated into Everyone Active’s You+ wellness membership, which was developed in partnership with industry-leading physiologist and wellbeing consultant, Oli Patrick. It is built on six lifestyle management pillars: sleep, recovery, nutrition, brain health, social wellness and movement.
Everyone Active is on trend: a new McKinsey report says there is a direct correlation between employee wellbeing and the organisation’s financial success and that company’s who invest in their staff see reduced attrition, presenteeism and absenteeism.
