Dornbracht's new Sensory Sky shower, available from spring 2014, has been designed to create the feeling of showering in the open air.

Sensory Sky is inspired by different types of rain, fog, light and fragrances, which are used to complement one another.

Programmes include Readjust - a warm fog and light rain with fresh-woody meadow herbs and fruity hints of berries; Release - a heavy 'summer rain' with changes in temperature and light, accompanied by a tropical fragrance with hints of citrus fruit and an earthy base, and Rejoice - with warm rain curtain which becomes a projection screen for the light effects as water droplets glisten in the colours of the rainbow and a fresh, clear fragrance with a sweet-spicy and woody finish.

The shower is controlled using Dornbracht's new, digital Smart Tools that Dornbracht has developed on the basis of its Smart Water technology. Smart Water digitises and networks the bathroom components with one another.

Smart Tools' two intuitive control dials control the exact temperature and water volume; the easy-to-read display switch can be used to call up pre-set settings and helpful functions for everyday applications.

Dornbracht develops the hardware and software itself. This way, the producer can provide the market with software updates and hardware upgrades in future as well.

Sensory Sky has minimalist design. The wide and flat rain panel has separate shower fields for head sprinkler, body sprinkler and rain curtain, a cold-water fog nozzle and light and fragrance functions.

The shower fragrances are produced in co-operation with Kemitron, a specialist for spa and wellness fragrances. Along with the three scenarios, spray heads, nozzles, light and fragrances can also be separately set, independently of one another for an individual shower experience.

It will be available in two different finishes: brushed stainless steel (in combination with matt platinum) and high-gloss stainless steel (in combination with chrome).
