Cotton to speak at BAHA conference
Bob Cotton, chief executive of British Hospitality Association (BHA), will be the keynote speaker at the fourth Annual British Association of Hospitality Accountants (BAHA) Conference and IT Exhibition.
The conference, titled The Essential Toolkit for Managing the Bottom Line will take place on Thursday, 19 November 2009 at the Sofitel Hotel, London Heathrow at Terminal 5.
Topics discussed during the day will include investment in the industry; taxation - with a change in VAT imminent; the ever increasing burden of legislation and demands on businesses; and the effect of a potential change in government in 2010.
Cotton will be joined by a line-up of UK and international speakers that include Meinhard Huck, president of Swissôtel Hotels & Resorts; David Clarke, chief executive of Best Western Hotels; Jonathan Langston, managing director of TRI Hospitality Consulting; and Frank Wolfe CAE, chief executive of US-based Hospitality Financial and Technology Professionals.
