Brindleyplace changes hands
Hines and Moorfield Group (HMG) has acquired the mixed-used Brindleyplace development in the centre of Birmingham from The Brindleyplace Limited Partnership for £190m.
The group said it would invest "significantly" into the estate's leisure offer.
HMG is now working alongside British Airways Pension Trustees, GVA Grimley and Brindleyplace asset manager, Argent, on improving the property's facilities.
Carluccio's will bring a 4,546sq ft restaurant and deli to Brindleyplace with YO! Sushi, the Japanese inspired restaurant based on the concept of a 'Kaiten' sushi bar, operating across two floors totalling 2,508sq ft.
Igor Mathias of Hines commented: "The changes at Brindleyplace demonstrate our commitment to maintaining the provision of premier leisure and retail opportunities which add value to occupiers, employees and visitors alike."
