One of these will offer both fitness and racquet sports, including five tennis courts – a response to the growing demand for lawn tennis facilities in Russia – and squash. Strata Partners already operates 10 clubs with tennis courts.
A new premium Orange Fitness club will open in the centre of Moscow this summer, while City Fitness will launch in St Petersburg – which already has an Orange Fitness club – in 2008.
Clubs will also open in other Russian cities, including Novokuznetsk (Siberia), and abroad in Kazakhstan and Armenia.
