To commemorate its 20 year anniversary Power Plate has held an event in London to educate attendees on the benefits of whole body vibration training.

The two-day event, called Power Plate on the Move, was held at The Arts Building in London's Finsbury Park, and included panel talks debating the topic of women's wellness. Athlete, sports presenter and Power Plate master trainer Caroline Pearce led the panel, which included celebrity and post-natal PT Alex P Marks, Julie Holl, founder of the Happy Body Project and Liferocks founder and development and energy coach Aimee Carlton.

Discussion points ranged from pre- and post-natal pregnancy to communities, both in-club and online, and the different generational challenges women face, from puberty through to pregnancy and menopause.

Master trainers were on hand to demonstrate how Power Plate can be used in fitness facilities and by personal trainers to improve clients' performance and aid recovery. A number of group training sessions, showcasing new classes, also took place.

In addition, the company launched its Power Plate Move, a portable training solution for at-home or light commercial use. The Power Plate Move offers six variable frequency modes and is designed for smaller spaces. It is light enough to be moved from room to room or stashed away when not in use.

Conor Sheehan, account executive at UK Active, was in attendance, he said: "It was amazing to get to use the Power Plate with expert guidance and finding out how versatile they are for all different training methods."
