PRESS RELEASE

The Fitness Group announces landmark two-day Education Summit at the University of Oxford: September 2026

30 Apr 2026
Two-Day Education Summit / The Fitness Group

TRX, Hyperice, Vivobarefoot, Eleiko, Boxercise, Strength & Conditioning Education, Elle Mace and the Matt Hampson Foundation confirmed as session partners for the UK's most ambitious fitness education event

The Fitness Group, winner of Best Education Provider 2025 and one of the UK's leading health and fitness education providers, today announced full details of the inaugural TFG Education Summit, a landmark two-day event taking place on 4th and 5th September 2026 at the University of Oxford Sports Centre.

The Summit will bring together 500 fitness professionals from across the UK and beyond for two days of learning, movement, coaching and connection. They have secured an exceptional line-up of session partners representing the very best in specialist fitness education.

Who you will learn from

The Fitness Group Education Summit has assembled a partner line-up that reflects the full breadth of the modern fitness profession. Each partner will deliver dedicated sessions across the two days, giving attendees access to world-class expertise they would be unlikely to find under one roof anywhere else.

TRX Training: The global authority in suspension training will deliver sessions covering coaching methodology, programming and practical application for personal trainers and group fitness professionals. TRX's presence at the Summit reflects its status as one of the most widely adopted training systems in the industry.

Hyperice: The global leader in recovery technology will run sessions on recovery science, technology integration and practical recovery protocols for fitness professionals and their clients. As recovery becomes an increasingly central part of the fitness professional's toolkit, Hyperice's sessions will be among the most practically valuable of the two days.

Vivobarefoot: Pioneers in natural movement and foot health will deliver sessions exploring barefoot movement principles, gait analysis and how footwear affects performance and injury. It is an area of growing importance across personal training, Pilates and rehabilitation, and one that few fitness professionals have had formal education in.

Eleiko: The world's leading strength equipment manufacturer, trusted by Olympic athletes and coaches since 1957, will bring hands-on strength and conditioning sessions to the Summit floor. Eleiko's involvement gives attendees access to equipment and expertise at the highest level of the sport.

Boxercise: The original boxing fitness methodology will deliver sessions covering instructor techniques, programming and how to deliver high-energy boxing-based workouts for a range of clients. Boxercise remains one of the most popular group fitness formats in the UK, and this is a rare opportunity to learn directly from its founders.

Strength and Conditioning Education: Advanced strength and conditioning sessions covering periodisation, programming and the science behind high-performance training. Essential for any fitness professional working with athletes or performance-focused clients.

Elle Mace: Specialist fitness educator and one of the UK's leading voices on disordered eating and body image, Elle will bring specialist education sessions on a topic that every fitness professional working with clients needs to understand. It is one of the most important and often underserved areas of fitness education.

Matt Hampson Foundation: Matt Hampson is a former England rugby player and leading disability advocate. The Foundation's sessions at the Summit will focus on adaptive fitness, coaching disabled clients and inclusion in the fitness industry, a vital and growing area that this event is proud to platform.

A defining moment for fitness education

Set against the iconic backdrop of the University of Oxford, the The Fitness Group Education Summit offers 500 fitness professionals an unparalleled two-day programme across an extraordinary range of disciplines, from suspension training, recovery science and natural movement, to strength and conditioning, adaptive fitness, boxing methodology and mental health awareness around disordered eating.

For personal trainers, Pilates instructors, sports massage therapists, group fitness instructors and nutrition professionals, this is two days of CPD, practical learning and industry connection that simply does not exist anywhere else in the UK.

Early bird tickets are on sale now, with limited availability at the discounted rate.

Steven Dick, co-owner and director of The Fitness Group, said: "The Fitness Group Education Summit is something we've wanted to create for a long time. We believe fitness professionals deserve a dedicated space to learn, connect and look ahead  and that's exactly what we're building. Whether you're new to the industry or you've been working in it for years, this event is for you."
