Pure Energy Music, the UK’s leading provider of music for the fitness industry, has officially entered the Irish market through a new partnership with DLR Leisure.

The agreement marks a key milestone in the company’s international growth, with its music now powering group exercise classes across all three DLR Leisure sites.

The partnership began at the Physical Activity Facilities (PAF) Forum in September 2025, where DLR Leisure CEO Niall Cull met the Pure Energy Music team to explore how the service could support instructors and enhance the class experience. Following a successful one-month trial with a small group of instructors, DLR Leisure rolled out the service in February 2026, with music now live across all three locations.

DLR Leisure has signed up to Pure Energy Music’s Multi-Site Subscription, alongside the Cover Channel add-on, giving instructors access to an extensive library of expertly mixed, class-ready playlists tailored specifically for fitness environments. The platform helps streamline class preparation while ensuring the music aligns with the energy, pace, and flow of each workout.

As part of the offering, instructors can also access Pure Energy Covers - a curated selection of familiar tracks reworked specifically for group exercise. Designed with the same focus on BPM and structure as original releases, these tracks bring a sense of familiarity while maintaining consistency and performance across the timetable.

Andy Pickles, CEO of Pure Energy Music, said: “This partnership represents a major milestone for Pure Energy Music as we enter the Irish market. From our first conversations with DLR Leisure, it was clear that the team shared our belief in the power of great music to elevate group exercise experiences. We’re proud to support their instructors with tools that make it easy to find the right music for every class, helping them deliver sessions that feel engaging, energised, and memorable.”

Niall Cull, CEO of DLR Leisure, added: “We’re always looking for ways to support our instructors and energise our members. Pure Energy Music gives our team instant access to high quality, class-ready music, making it easier to plan and deliver great sessions. After a successful trial, rolling it out across all three sites was an easy decision, and we’re excited to see the impact in every class.”

Now live across all sites, the rollout marks an exciting step in bringing Pure Energy Music’s fitness-optimised music solution to the Irish leisure sector. The partnership also represents the start of Pure Energy Music’s international expansion, highlighting how its tailored platform empowers instructors and fitness operators to deliver expertly curated music designed specifically for fitness and wellness.
