PRESS RELEASE

D2F’s in-house brand: Altrafit, bringing you high quality at affordable prices

21 Aug 2025
D2F in-house brand: Altrafit, / D2F Fitness
D2F Fitness has long been a trusted name in the fitness industry, known for supplying premium gym equipment to some of the UK’s most recognised operators. With over a decade of experience and a strong manufacturing base in the UK, D2F has built deep connections across the sector, working with clients such as Bannatyne, Everyone Active, Fitness First, Better, Matrix, Third Space and even Red Bull Racing.

Leveraging these longstanding relationships and extensive industry knowledge, D2F launched Altrafit: a homegrown brand designed to meet the real-world needs of fitness operators while keeping costs under control. By bringing the production process in-house, D2F has been able to focus on what matters most: creating equipment that performs at a high level, is built to last and is accessible at a competitive price point.

The Altrafit range has expanded since its release, and now spans a wide selection of categories, including functional training equipment, free weights, studio kit, flooring and turf tracks, and racks. Each product is carefully developed to offer a commercial-grade standard without the inflated cost that can come with middlemen or third-party distributors.

This direct-to-customer model means greater efficiency, stronger quality control and better value. For gyms, leisure centres and fitness facilities, this translates to equipment that delivers performance without compromise, with robust warranty terms that reflect the confidence behind each product.

John Lofting, Managing Director at D2F Fitness says, “the mission behind Altrafit is simple. D2F wants operators to have access to everything they need, all in one place, and at a price that makes sense for their business.” The product range continues to grow, with regular innovations and new additions across all key categories. Whether refitting an entire gym or sourcing specific items, customers can expect consistent quality, dependable service and excellent value from start to finish.

D2F have been working with Katie Bulmer-Cooke to further spread the word about the Altrafit brand. As Katie’s local Everyone Active gym had recently been revamped and kitted out with Altrafit equipment, the partnership came together naturally. The brand values having an industry expert to support and amplify its presence, and Katie also plays a role in product testing and development to help ensure gym-goers get the most out of their Altrafit kit.

Altrafit is more than just an in-house brand. It’s a reflection of D2F’s commitment to the industry: high-quality equipment at low prices, designed by people who understand what fitness professionals really need.
