ZigZag joins CNN Fit Nation Tour
ZigZag’s interactive fitness kit recently travelled across America as part of the Cable News Network's (CNN) two-month Fit Nation Tour, raising the profile of the US obesity epidemic.
The initiative began in 2006 to stop obesity and encourage healthier lifestyles. It has since travelled across the US, encouraging communities to be more active and develop local programmes to meet the challenges of being overweight.
The 2008 tour involved XerGames Technology (manufacturer of the kit distributed by ZigZag in the UK), the American Diabetes Association, the Mayo Clinic and Weight Watchers. It visited New Orleans, Dallas, Seattle, Ohio, Delaware, Minneapolis and New York.
