Work to start on Cambridgeshire all-weather pitch

A ceremony will be held on 24 January to mark the start of work on a new all-weather pitch at Cromwell Community College in Chatteris, Cambridgeshire.
The £1.25m scheme will also include the construction of a clubhouse to be used by both the school and by the local community. Cambridgeshire County Council, Chatteris Town Council and the Football Foundation have contributed funding towards the scheme, which is due to be completed by the end of July.
It forms the first phase of the town council's bid to enhance local leisure facilities.
