Work starts on new Norwich eco-park

Construction work has commenced on a new eco-park in Norwich, which will feature a nature-based play area and sensory planting.
The play site at St Clements Park will include boulders; a children's climber; and embankment slides, while 'colourful' flowers and trees will be planted for less abled children to enjoy. Norwich City Council has secured £100,000 from the Big Lottery Children's Play Programme and £60,000 through developer's Section 106 contributions to fund the scheme.
CGM Landscapes has been appointed to deliver the new-look park, the majority of which will be completed in 2011.
