Jonathan Wigley has been promoted within Minor International – parent company of MSpa International, operator of the Mandara and Anantara brands – to the new position of vice president of operations.
Chief operating officer William E Heinecke said: “We are truly delighted to have Jonathan as part of our executive management team. With his talent and passion for the industry, the Marriott and Anantara brands will continue to achieve success in their relative sectors.”
In his new capacity, Wigley will be responsible for overseeing all operations for the Anantara and Marriott properties.
He will also be responsible for developing the Anantara brand in forthcoming ventures in Sri Lanka, Bali, Dubai and Thailand.
