Vivat Bacchus to open new wine bar

A new, 120-capacity wine bar will open in early January 2006 above the Vivat Bacchus restaurant opposite London’s Smithfield market in Farringdon.
The restaurant, which is owned by Neleen Strauss and Gerrie Knoetze, opened two years ago. The wine list for the new bar will run to 12,000 bottles. Details: www.vivatbacchus.co.uk
