British Rowing has announced that Eton Dorney in Buckinghamshire - host of the London 2012 Olympic rowing regatta - is to stage the 2013 Samsung World Rowing Cup.
International governing body FISA confirmed the decision at its annual congress in Plovdiv, Bulgaria, with British Rowing also having the option to host a world cup event in 2015.
Due to take place on 21-23 June, the 2013 Samsung World Rowing Cup will bring some of the world's leading rowers back to Eton Dorney for the second time in two years.
It comes after FISA declared the eight-day London 2012 Olympic regatta as a "resounding success", with official surveys revealing a 97 per cent approval rating for Eton Dorney.
British Rowing chair Di Ellis said: "Hosting a World Cup in 2013 at Eton Dorney will give rowing the perfect opportunity to rekindle the magical atmosphere we enjoyed at the Olympic Games."
FISA president Denis Oswald added: "After the success of the London 2012 Olympic Regatta, we are very pleased to return to Eton Dorney for the second regatta of the 2013 Samsung World Rowing Cup series."
