UEFA to look into Manchester City deal?
A multi-million pound sponsorship deal between Manchester City Football Club and Etihad Airways is reportedly facing scrutiny from European football's governing body, UEFA.
According to the BBC, UEFA Financial Control Panel chair Jean-Luc Dehaene revealed that he had "some questions" about the agreement, which was announced last month. Dehaene told the BBC: "If we see clubs that are looking for loopholes we will act. It is not enough to say 'we've got a sponsorship contract and that's OK' if the contract is out of line."
